We are excited to announce that we have partnered with the Rockford Area Habitat for Humanity to

HFH Ground Breaking

sponsor a home build this summer. In addition to providing the financial support, team members from Field will be taking part in the construction of the home on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays throughout the summer building season.   This build is the first build sponsored by Field, though many team members have volunteered with Habitat in the past.

“Our mission statement at Field is to have everyone who interacts with us, Love us.  An important element of this is having an active role and making a meaningful impact in the communities in which we operate” states Adam Derry, Field’s Director of Sales & Marketing.  “We couldn’t be more excited about this home build and feel honored to partner with such a great organization in Habitat for Humanity.”

The Rockford Area Habitat will be building four homes this year; two homes on Geneva Avenue, a home on 28th street, and the home Field will sponsor, located on Wilshire Dr.

“Rockford Area Habitat for Humanity is honored to be partnering with Field on a build in Machesney

Park this summer,” says Keri Nelson, Executive Director of Rockford Area Habitat for Humanity. “We are lucky to have such an incredibly giving business in our community and it’s evident that they care a lot about those who live here.  Their financial commitment, as well as the volunteer hours being provided by their staff, customers, suppliers and family members has made it possible to build a home for a very deserving family and we are humbled to get to work alongside them.”

Field has a strong commitment to give back to the Rockford community. In fact, the Field team provides financial support and volunteer hours to more than 22 local non-profit organizations. The Field team will put in more than 250 hours a week in volunteer hours to complete the build by the end of August.  Field is lending a hand up to build the home for a family in the community who would otherwise not be able to afford to purchase a home. Field’s sponsorship of the home provides a new way for Field to give back to the community as well as increase community goodwill and visibility of the Rockford Area Habitat projects.

About Habitat

Since 1988, Rockford Area Habitat for Humanity (RAHFH) has worked to change substandard housing conditions by making home ownership possible. In the process, Habitat is able to transform lives, improve neighborhoods, and most importantly, give hope and strength to many communities. We couldn’t do it without the endless support of our volunteers and eagerness of our wonderful homeowners. Looking to volunteer? Want to sponsor a build?
