Bill Derry
Bill Derry
Chairman

With over 50 years of fastener distribution experience, Bill Derry has provided the strategic direction that has played a significant role in Field’s 18% year-over-year growth for the past 30+ years. His varied fastener background in product management, manufacturing management, applications and product engineering, sales management, and quality assurance help to inspire Field's "technical approach to fastening" philosophy.

Bill is also a central figure in several outside industry organizations. He has served on the Board of Directors for and is a former president of the National Fastener Distributor Association (NFDA). In addition, he spent three years as a delegate to the Industrial Fastener Institute. In 2017, Bill was inducted into the Fastener Hall of Fame.

Jim Derry
Chief Executive Officer

Jim and his brother Bill purchased Field in 1990. As CEO, Jim focuses on Field’s long-term strategic plan and ensures that our partners LOVE Field. He is dedicated to enhancing our world-class culture to continue to create an environment that allows our team members to thrive and is a competitive advantage in the marketplace. 

The overall goal of Field’s strategic plan is to improve lives, and Jim is committed to improving the lives of the Field team members, their families, our customers, our suppliers, and the communities we operate in. He is a Six Sigma Black Belt and believes strongly in lean principles to drive efficiency, continuous improvement, and innovation. Jim has a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Illinois and has served as President of the Board for the National Fastener Distributor Association (NFDA). Jim also received the Fastener Professional of the Year award from the NFDA in 2021.

Adam’s Father and Uncle, Bill and Jim Derry, purchased Field in 1990.  Since that time, the company has been able to achieve 19% year over year growth; they attribute their success to their culture, being customer focused, and having a clear/compelling value proposition.  As Field’s President, Adam provides strategic direction for the organization, ensuring Field achieves its financial and organizational objectives.  Adam has overall accountability toward Field’s annual operating plan, and ten-year strategic plan, as well as protecting and enhancing the Field culture as it continues to grow.  The overall goal of Field’s strategic plan is to improve lives – the lives of its team members, their families, customers, suppliers, and the communities in which they operate in.  Field achieved $100 million in 2019 and intends to grow to $300 Million by 2030. 

Adam joined Field in 2006 and had been most recently serving as the Chief Customer Officer prior to moving into the President role in 2022, and on its board of directors since its inception in 2015. Adam believes that Field needs to be an industry disruptor and aggressively work to drive innovation and make everything about partnering with Field easy.  Adam has a Bachelor's Degree in both Marketing and Management from the University of Iowa, and has served as the President for the National Fastener Distributor Association (NFDA) and is on the Hope for Haitians board of directors.   Adam is married with four children, and loves playing golf, being on a boat or at Wrigley Field, cooking, and being with his family.

Doug Warner
Vice President of Operations

With more than 30 years of experience in the fastener industry, Doug provides strategic leadership for our North American Operations. He directs our teams responsible for receiving, inventory control & slotting, and order fulfillment at all of our Centers of Excellence. Doug focuses on cost-effective logistic solutions throughout our global supply chain. He is passionate about team member development, standardization and continuous improvement of our processes, and providing accurate and timely shipments to our customers.

Doug has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Rockford University. He holds a CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) certificate through ASCM/APICS and is a member of the Warehouse Educational Research Council (WERC). He has 8 years of project management experience in the aerospace industry. In his free time, Doug loves following his favorite sports teams, spending time with his wife, kids and grandkids, and being in the great outdoors.

Melissa Patel
Vice President of Supply Chain

As Vice President of Supply Chain, Melissa is in a unique position to lead both our sourcing and account management teams globally which allows for alignment of strategy throughout the supply chain.  Melissa’s team has responsibility to execute the strategy to achieve customer love and asset management.  With over 20 years at Field, Melissa has led a variety of teams and knows our business from multiple aspects.  She drives a strong emphasis on data analysis to drive product availability and cost management. 

 

Melissa has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Rockford University and has been CPSM certified since 2010.  Melissa is married with two children and enjoys spending time with family and close friends.

Gregg Cox
Vice President of Sales and Engineering

Gregg Cox comes to work every day with one goal in mind: provide Field customers with a competitive advantage by deploying the Field team and resources to help ensure customers achieve their goals and objectives. Aligning those areas of the Field value proposition with our customers business strategy thru deploying customized asset management strategies, an engineering-based approach to fastening and a well-trained empowered team. With over hundreds of engineering projects executed on an annual basis, no one is better than Gregg and the Field team at employing techniques such as value-stream mapping, process-flow analysis, and lean manufacturing principles to reduce costs, increase productivity and improve product quality. 

Experience and knowledge in various manufacturing processes such as injection molding, die casting, progressive stamping, and heading allows him to identify alternatives in fasteners, fastening, and DFM & DFMA to validate and implement project goals and objectives. Gregg also is a member of the Mid-West Fastener Association and ASTM.

Director of Information Technology

As the leader for Field’s Information Technology team, Chad drives the utilization of current and emerging technologies to reach the strategic goals of the organization. With over 20 years in the field of information technology, he oversees enterprise applications, enterprise data, infrastructure, collaboration, and information security, with the end goal of supporting and servicing our customers.

In his spare time he enjoys being outdoors, running, hiking, and spending time with family.

Director of Quality

Chris and his team of quality professionals across the globe work daily to provide superior quality products with the goal of exceeding expectations with every encounter. Chris brings more than 29 years of diverse manufacturing and engineering experience to Field.

Chris has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Rockford University.

Director of Human Resources

With over 20 years of Human Resources experience in the distribution and manufacturing industries, Tina is passionate about providing the best work experience for our team members. This is accomplished by preserving and enhancing our culture, listening to and acting on feedback, and fostering an open and honest atmosphere. Tina is responsible for finding outstanding talent to support Field’s continual growth as well as developing the talent within Field to accomplish our People & Leadership Excellence goals. Tina and her team are committed to ensuring that Field remains a top employer of choice in the area.

Tina has a Bachelor's Degree in both Psychology and Sociology from Illinois State University and has been certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources since 2012. She is also a member of the Rockford Area HR Society and serves on the Board of Directors for Goodwill of Northern Illinois. In her free time Tina and her husband enjoy the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her horses.

Ryan Dickerson
Director of Finance & Innovation

Ryan brings a unique blend of financial acumen and innovative thinking to the role of Director of Finance and Innovation. With a Master of Science in Accounting from Illinois State University and a CPA certification, Ryan's expertise is not just in numbers, but in transforming them into actionable insights. At Field, he has been instrumental in revolutionizing the financial landscape by streamlining processes and championing the implementation of advanced data analysis platforms.

Ryan is married with 2 children. Outside of work you will find Ryan coaching or playing soccer, attending a variety of sporting events, and spending time with his family. Ryan also serves on the board of a local not-for profit organization.

Eduardo Flores
General Manager of Field Mexico

As the general manager of Field Mexico, Eduardo Flores oversees all the functional areas to ensure that they are aligned with Field US. He is responsible for guaranteeing alignment with our core values so that our customers are well served. Eduardo has been with the Field Team since 2015 and brought more than 15 years of experience in the automotive industry. Eduardo has a Mechanical Engineering degree and an MBA from the UANL (University of Nuevo Leon). Along with this, Eduardo also has a Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification.

In his free time, Eduardo enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
