Field Has Heart
“FIELD IS AN OUTSTANDING ORGANIZATION TOTALLY COMMITTED TO OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY. IT IS OUR ONLY INDUSTRIAL PARTNER WITH 100% EMPLOYEE PARTICIPATION IN THE UNITED WAY COMMUNITY CAMPAIGN. THE FIELD TEAM SUPPORTS NUMEROUS LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS THROUGH ITS FINANCIAL AND VOLUNTEER SUPPORT OF MANY EFFORTS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR EVERYONE.”
- Paul A. Logli - President & CEO - United Way of Rock River Valley
For over 20 years, Field has been an active supporter of the greater Rockford community. We regularly give our time, effort, enthusiasm, and financial support to nonprofit organizations within the community. For the past 8 years, Field has had 100% employee participation in giving financial support to the United Way, even as our team has nearly doubled in size during that time. We also have numerous team members each year, who read to children through the United Way’s Page Turner Program. Field regularly contributes to, and helps organize events for organizations like, the Rock River Valley Blood Center, Northern Illinois Food Bank, Rockford Meld, GiGi’s Playhouse, Carpenter’s Place and numerous others. But the value Field places on community involvement is even better seen through our individual team member involvement. Numerous team members lend their time, effort, and financial support to over 22 charities and nonprofit organization of their own accord.
For the Field team it’s not about simply sending a check, it’s about getting out there in the community and volunteering to help make a difference. Perhaps the best example of this is Field’s support of the Rockford Area Habitat for Humanity. During the summer of 2015, Field is the House Sponsor for a Rockford Area Habitat for Humanity home. Nearly every team member at Field is volunteering their time and resources to help build a home for a family in need.
At Field, we want to make a positive difference in the communities where we live and work. Over the years we’ve found the best way to make an impact in the community is to roll up our sleeves and volunteer. By giving our time, effort, enthusiasm, and financial support, we know that we can be the hero to the child who never gets read to, we can be the hero to a family who needs a home; we can be the hero to someone who just needs a helping hand. Our small acts of volunteering can make a big difference in our community.
